Getting started with CleverTools
CleverTools works without an account. Pick a tool from the directory of all tools, drag your file (or paste your text) into the upload area, choose any options, and click the action button. Output downloads directly to your device — there is no file processing happening on a server, so there is also nothing to delete or expire afterwards. If you close the tab before downloading, the file is gone; just run the tool again.

Yes. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — your file never reaches our servers, so we cannot read, store, or share it. See the security page for the technical details.
A tool is showing "UI failed to load" — what do I do?
This usually means a browser extension is blocking JavaScript. Try in an incognito window or a different browser. If the issue persists, contact us with your browser and OS.
Why does my converted file look slightly different?
PDF, Word, and Excel use different layout engines, so converting between them is rarely pixel-perfect. Text, structure, and basic formatting are preserved; complex layouts may need minor cleanup. Tools that use OCR add another layer of variability that scales with scan quality.
Can I use CleverTools for office or commercial work?
Yes. Most tools have no usage cap and no licensing restriction for individuals or small businesses. The output files (compressed PDFs, generated GST invoices, salary slips, etc.) belong to you.
