What's in this suite

CleverTools' YouTube suite is built for the creator workflow that big-name SEO platforms charge ₹2,000+ a month for. Preview your thumbnail across home feed, search, sidebar, mobile, Shorts, and channel pages before you upload. A/B-test two thumbnails side-by-side. Count your title against the 60-character truncation cap and your description against the 5,000-character limit, with live mobile/desktop/search previews. Generate timestamp links with chapter lists. Build embed code with autoplay, mute, loop, captions, and privacy-enhanced toggles. Pull the canonical UC-prefix channel ID from any URL, @handle, or username — handy for API work, RSS feeds, and competitive research.

Common workflows

Common pairings: Thumbnail Previewer + A/B Thumbnail Tester to pick the winning design before publishing. Title Counter + Description Template Generator for one full metadata pass with FTC-compliant affiliate disclosure. Embed Code Generator + Timestamp Link Generator for inline chapter jumping in a blog or course page. Channel ID Finder + Hashtag Generator when researching a niche before launching a channel.

Frequently asked

Quick answers about the youtube tools suite.

Do the YouTube tools need an API key?

Most don't. Thumbnail Previewer, A/B Tester, Title/Description Counter, Embed Code Generator, Timestamp Links, Hashtag Generator, and Description Template all run 100% in your browser with no API call. Only the Channel ID Finder needs a YouTube Data API key — you bring your own (free Google Cloud key, 10,000 quota units/day) and we never see it.

How accurate is the Thumbnail Previewer?

Pixel-faithful to the current YouTube UI as of 2026. Six mockups (home feed, search results, sidebar, mobile, Shorts feed, channel page) in both light and dark mode, with the exact aspect ratio, title truncation, and metadata layout YouTube uses today. The aspect-ratio guard catches uploads that aren't 16:9.

Will the YouTube embed code work everywhere?

Yes — it generates standard iframe markup that works in WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, plain HTML, and inside any CMS that allows iframes. The privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) variant is recommended for GDPR / cookie-consent flows, and is enabled with one toggle.

Does the title counter use YouTube's actual truncation rules?

Yes — title cap is 100 characters total, but search and mobile feeds truncate around 60 characters. The counter shows live previews for mobile, desktop sidebar, and search-result surfaces so you can see where your title gets cut off before you publish.

Can I get the canonical UC-prefix channel ID from a @handle?

Yes — Channel ID Finder accepts the full URL, @handle, /c/ vanity URL, /user/ legacy username, or even just a channel name. URL and @handle lookups cost 1 API quota unit. Searching by name uses 100 units, so paste a URL or @handle when you have one.
