Find IFSC Code by Branch

If you know the branch name and city but not the IFSC, this is the fastest way to find it. Type the branch + city across all 200+ Indian banks - we match against the RBI's official IFSC database and return the IFSC, MICR, branch address, and supported services. No login, no rate limits.

When to use this

Use when: a recipient tells you their account is at 'HDFC, Andheri East branch' but didn't share the IFSC, employer needs your bank details and you only have the branch name handy, filling forms where IFSC is mandatory and you don't have a chequebook nearby.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if there are multiple branches with the same name in different cities?

The search filters by city - so 'HDFC Andheri' in Mumbai vs 'HDFC Andheri' in Pune (if both existed) would return different results. If you're not sure of the exact city, the search returns all matching branches and you can pick the right one from the list with full address.

Does this work for cooperative banks and RRBs?

Yes - all banks regulated by RBI (PSU banks, private banks, cooperative banks, payment banks, small finance banks, regional rural banks) have IFSC codes registered with RBI. The lookup covers all of them, not just the top 20.
