Paste your text and click a case: UPPER, lower, Sentence, Title Case or aLtErNaTe. The result updates as you click, ready to copy or download as a .txt file. This page opens with Title Case picked, so a headline is fixed the moment you paste it.
When to use this
Use it to fix a heading typed with caps lock on, turn a shouty ALL CAPS email into normal sentences, title-case blog post and YouTube video titles, or lowercase a list of tags and email addresses before you import them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which small words stay lowercase in Title Case?
Articles, short conjunctions and short prepositions: a, an, the, and, but, or, nor, of, in, on, at, to, for, by, with, as and vs. They are still capitalized when they start a line. Every other word gets a capital first letter, so "hello world from new york" becomes "Hello World From New York".
What is the difference between sentence case and title case?
Sentence case capitalizes only the first letter of each sentence and each line (plus the word I), the way you write normal prose. Title Case capitalizes nearly every word, the style used for headlines, book titles and video titles.
Will it keep acronyms like NASA or names like iPhone?
No. Title Case and Sentence case lowercase the rest of every word first, so NASA becomes Nasa and iPhone becomes Iphone, and Sentence case also lowercases proper names. Fix those few words by hand after converting.
Does it change Unicode bold or italic text?
No. Unicode bold and italic letters (the kind used on LinkedIn and X) have no upper or lower form, so they pass through unchanged. Select them and click Aa to turn them back into plain letters first, and then the case change applies.
Does anything else change besides the case?
No. This page opens with every clean-up option off, so only the case changes. If you also want to remove markdown symbols, extra spaces or em dashes, pick a preset such as Clean AI text in the settings.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, so nothing you paste is sent to a server or stored. There is no length limit and no signup.
