e-Aadhaar Password Remover

e-Aadhaar PDFs downloaded from UIDAI or DigiLocker are locked with a password (first 4 letters of your name in CAPS + birth year, e.g. RAHU1990). After repeated KYC use, retyping this password gets tedious. Our remover takes your name and birth year, derives the password locally, and saves an unlocked copy - all without your file ever leaving your browser.

When to use this

Use whenever you need to share or print your e-Aadhaar: bank KYC, mobile SIM, gas / electricity connection, rental agreement, college admission, hotel check-in, salary slip submission, or filing forms that ask for Aadhaar copy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the standard e-Aadhaar password format?

First 4 letters of your name in CAPS + 4-digit birth year. Example: name 'Rahul Kumar' + birth year 1990 -> password RAHU1990. Names starting with fewer than 4 letters get the full name + birth year (e.g. 'Sai' + 1995 -> SAI1995). The tool auto-builds this from your inputs.

Why doesn't my password work?

Common reasons: birth year in your Aadhaar might be different from what you remember (check the Aadhaar card itself), name spelling on Aadhaar might differ slightly from how you input here (use exactly what's on the card), or the PDF is an older format with a different password scheme. The tool tries common variants if the first one fails.
