Permanent PDF Redaction

Standard PDF redaction tools often just add a black rectangle annotation that can be removed by any PDF editor - your 'redacted' content stays in the file. Our redaction burns the black-out into the page content AND strips the text layer for redacted regions, so the original info is genuinely unrecoverable.

When to use this

Use whenever the redaction must be irreversible: court filings where leaked content has legal consequences, regulatory submissions where data privacy is enforced, journalistic source-protection, internal whistleblower documentation, security-incident reports.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I verify the redaction is permanent?

After downloading, try: (1) Select-all and copy text in the redacted area - it should be empty. (2) Search for the redacted content - no results. (3) Open in a different PDF editor - the black rectangles should still cover content. If all three pass, the redaction is genuinely permanent.
