Crop PDF Margins

Scanned documents and book PDFs often have wide whitespace margins. Crop them to focus on content, reduce file size, and improve print yield. Pick auto-detect (we find the content area) or manually drag a crop rectangle on the live preview. Apply to one page, a range, or all pages.

When to use this

Use to: clean up scanned books before reading on e-readers, trim white borders from photographed PDFs (phone camera scans), prepare PDFs for print (smaller margins = more content per page), reduce PDF file size by removing whitespace.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does auto-detect work for all PDFs?

Best on PDFs with clear content boundaries (most documents, screenshots, photos). Less reliable on PDFs with subtle backgrounds or content close to page edges. The manual crop rectangle is always available as a fallback.
